Working under the authority of a Nigerian church in a general hospital, I’ve done a lot of learning! Looking after the maternity ward and antenatal clinic, staying involved with outpatients, doing ultrasound scans and setting up a "Prevention of Mother to Child Transmission of HIV " program have not only kept me busy, but in touch with desperate and needy people: those Jesus loves. With American funding and a local teaching hospital we have just started being able to supply Antiretroviral drugs. I am constantly prepared to do what the church run hospital authorities ask me to do, steer away from "running the show," and support the medical staff in the hospital…will you?

Give hope to children in Lesotho |
In a country with an HIV infection rate of over 40%, we are involved in 'Love in Action', a church based NGO with a vision to transform communities through the tangible and powerful expression of God's Love. We do this through health education, training and community development as well as caring for children affected by poverty and AIDS. Ministering to over 80 children from child headed households, we feed them, disciple them and train them in income generation schemes. We offer crisis care to street children, those suffering abuse, and orphans…will you?
