Pioneers is an international mission movement, made up of people from all over the world who are passionate for God, and are committed to knowing Him more fully, and making Him known.

In a very real sense, Pioneers was built and designed from scratch, its architects largely a generation of youthful leaders who looked at the task of world mission through entirely new, and sometimes surprisingly creative lenses.

Although numerous merges and partnerships have contributed to the formation of Pioneers, we are, essentially, a very young organisation, emerging from quite modest beginnings in the late 1970's, to a point now where we have over 1600 workers, scattered throughout 70 different countries, and over 170 church planting teams.

All of these people are seeking to obey the command of Jesus, to take the message of hope in Christ to the nations of the world. In particular, we have a special interest in those people groups who, for any number of reasons, have had the least opportunity to hear.
